We are a group of teachers & others who enjoy creating interactive resources for ICT at KS3, KS4 & KS5. So far we have developed resources in conjunction with people from England, Wales, Thailand & Canada. We are always open to new people bringing their skills and joining us in the resource creation process - please do get in touch if you are interested.

What do we do ?

We produce interactive resources aimed at stimulating pupil's imaginations, enhancing their creativity and making the life of the teacher easier.

Why would you want these resources on CD ?

• It may be that you wish to install these resources onto your own school intranet or standalone machines - resources are provided with unlimited site licences, the only restriction being publication on the internet.
• You may want an out of the box project that you can distribute across your department for non-specialist staff to deliver.
• Some teachers have obtained copies of these resources so that they can alter them to fit in with their Schemes of Work.
• They can be easily used on local networks for cover lessons - easing that unforeseen absence.
• Some of the resources are multimedia rich and we cannot put all the features online due to bandwidth costs (current bandwidth usage is over 1Gb per day !)

By obtaining these resources on CD-ROM you are provided with materials which you can add to or edit to match your pupil's needs. And finally - you may just wish to support us - we do this in our own time, on our own equipment, with our own software and on our own webspace - it doesn't come cheap and we can only keep going with your support ! Why have we developed these resources ?

Enjoyment could be one answer - enjoyment of the development process and seeing the end product in the classroom with kids switched on.From an learner's standpoint we are trying to put the child at the very centre of the learning process.

Our children have been bombarded from an early age with a quality of media school budgets can only dream of; TV, DVD, PS2, ETC. However, with the advent of the school projector and interactive whiteboard we have a real opportunity to embrace their digital world - if only we had the time.

By utilising a theme we can add a different slant to lesson content and deliver it through the learner's real interests.From a teacher's standpoint we aid with the smooth delivery of lessons, keeping the children interested and their imaginations flowing.

Our commission based system also repays teachers who put their time and effort into creating interactive resources. The CD-Rom versions of these resources are easily deployed on a school network. How do we produce these resources ?

1. We examine lesson content and consider various themes that could be utilised in their delivery.
2. We choose a number of themes and make demonstration resources.
3. The demonstration resources are discussed with a mixed ability group of children, their ideas and evaluation form a basis for our approach.
4. We develop our theme, structuring it a close as possible to desired lesson content.
5. The value of the finished resource is evaluated in terms of quality, effectiveness and teachability.
