REVIT3D
Many pupils dislike revision - they may find it boring and difficult or it may be presented to them in a way which is unsuitable for their learning style. As a teacher it is so frustrating to work hard with pupils for a number of years only for them to do poorly in examinations due to lack of revision. Building upon the idea of mindmaps we have developed a 3D revision environment based upon today's computer games. However - this game is an EXE file and so not available online but is available for purchase.
Sections of curriculum for Paper 1 have been organised into rooms and key knowledge points are on the walls - these are expanded upon by the use of audio terminals which the pupil has to walk up to to operate. We used this at school and the pupils loved it - when I asked them who wanted a copy to take home they all had their hands up. In our opinion this really is a cool resource. It is available on site and pupil licences - please contact us for details. Thanks go to Sally for the audio, Den for coding and Pete for hosting. Screenshots Lara learns about ICT in retail
